If you are a writer with a great script that could be adapted for historic audio drama or have an audio drama script ready to go then we would be very pleased to have the opportunity to read it.
Likewise if you are a producer who has a quality historic audio drama that may be on a podcast platform then we’d welcome the opportunity to publish your work on Towton Audio ®.
We have set out our outline terms below which we hope you will find to be reasonable and which would form the basis of any final agreement.
Outline Writer Terms & Conditions
1. You must own the rights to the written work that you are either submitting or wishing to discuss.
2. You must be willing to indemnify us against any claims to the contrary including infringement of copyright etc.
3. Your written work must be an historic audio dramatization that could be a one-off or have the potential to be a series.
4. We would ideally like a buyout but are happy to discuss possible payment terms in the event your dramatization is hopefully liked by our team.
Outline Producer Terms & Conditions
1. You must own the rights to the production that you are either submitting or wishing to discuss.
2. You must be willing to indemnify us against any claims to the contrary including infringement of copyright etc.
3. Your production must be an historic audio drama that could be a one-off or have the potential to be a series.
4. You would need to agree not to offer your audio drama on any other platform for a lesser sum at the same time as your work was on Towton Audio ®.
5. Your episodes would be priced at £4.99 for 60’ pro-rata and subject to agreed promotional discounts.
6. Your series would be priced at the sum of your episodes less 10% and again subject to agreed promotional discounts.
7. You would agree to provide background material on the cast & crew, period, motivation and anything else that is interesting and engaging for visitors to our publishing platform including interviews. Please take a look at www.kingmakeraudio.com to get an idea of what we believe will help you sell your wonderful audio drama. The idea, after all, is to make this an experience rather than a transaction for our visitors.
8. You are asked to guarantee us 12 months on our platform after which you may give one month’s notice at any stage that you wish us to take your work off (waaaaaaaaaah!).
9. All income generated from the published drama will be split 50/50 with the transaction costs borne by Towton (Paypal & Stripe fees) with monies remitted to you or your company, organisation, charity, drama school etc within 30 days of being received.
